Signsoft announces that the latest version of Signsoft intelliBO is avaliable now. The release of the version 4.1 represents a further milestone within the development of an innovative persistence platform that can be integrated optimally into service-oriented architectures.
Signsoft intelliBO is meant to continue the succcess story that began with winning the Javamagazin Readers Choice “Best Persistence Tool / Architecture” in 2004 and 2005.

Signsoft intelliBO, the persistence middleware for Java, is immediately available as version 3.7. With this version Signsoft enormously extends the operating range of the intelliBO 3.x series. Signsoft intelliBO 3.7 offers numerous new features, optimised performance and supports modern development environments and application servers as well as any database system.
With the latest version of the persistence-middleware Signsoft intelliBO, Signsoft goes far beyond the borders of the object-relational-mapper and supports next to relational and object-oriented database systems now as well XML as a storage medium. Signsoft intelliBO, the persistence-middleware for Java, is from now on available as version 3.5. With this version Signsoft extends the operating range of intelliBO enormously. This product exceeds the requirements of supporting the JDO-specification and supports next to relational and object-oriented database systems now as well XML as a storage medium. The XML interface supports you during the development of applications, which next to a constant access to the database offer the possibility of saving data offline. Besides the XML-support further new features are provided to the developers. The comfortable report-generator allows the developer to view all intelliBO settings and configurations as PDF or HTML. In addition various other new mappings were integrated, e.g. enumeration mapping and aggregated mapping. Since intelliBO supports all important application servers, you can use all advantages of a JBO-persistence-solution during development of performant and scalable J2EE applications. The intelligent completion of the mapping description reduces the necessary indication (to store a class persistent in a database) to an absolute minimum and reduces drastically the expenditure for the developer. Numerous integrated tools accompany the developer during all stages of development. It is now possible to create automatic source text for persistent Java classes as well as complete database structures. The product is capable of being integrated into tools like Borland JBuilder, Together Control Center and Apache Ant.
